Fiscal Responsibility
Chet believes Boone County government should operate with the same financial discipline that families and businesses follow. He supports lower taxes, eliminating wasteful spending, and implementing zero-based budgeting to ensure every taxpayer dollar is used responsibly.
Responsible Growth
Boone County is growing rapidly, and that growth must be carefully managed. Chet supports strategic planning that protects infrastructure, preserves community character, and ensures development decisions put residents first.
Protecting Property Rights
Private property rights are fundamental to our community and our Constitution. Chet believes government regulation should remain limited while protecting the rights of Boone County residents and property owners.
Transparency & Accountability
Residents deserve open and accountable leadership. Chet supports transparent decision-making, responsible budgeting, and a county government that works for the people — not special interests.
Why I’m Running
Boone County isn’t just where I live — it’s home to four generations of my family. I’m running to be your next Judge Executive to bring a fresh vision for the future of Boone County.
I live with my wife and children on a small homestead farm in Walton, and we are heavily invested in the success and future of our county.
As I listen to friends and neighbors, I recognize we are at a critical time. We are a different region and county today than we were 30 years ago. We’ve gained almost 100,000 people in the last three decades, with growth driving challenges in housing, traffic, and development.
The challenges and opportunities of the future, will require a different way of thinking about things to ensure we maintain a quality of life for our residents.
We need an energy and curiosity in our executive leadership that ensures our county stays ahead of critical issues, and reduces friction points between residents and government.
You can continue to count on me to tackle critical issues for our region head on, putting residents first, and ensuring Boone County remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
